New - I am pleased to announce that Flight Test NZ operating certficate has been renewed by CAA for a further 5 years through to May 2018.  Flight Test NZ can trace it's origins over 21 years now. About Flight Test New Zealand

Flight Test New Zealand Ltd is a Civil Aviation Authority of NZ approved checking and training organisation. Using 23 Flight Examiners located throughout New Zealand, we provide pilot flight tests and training.

Our mission is to allow you to complete that final stage of the training process, the flight test, in a relaxed yet professional manner.  You have spent so much effort and time in training to meet the required standard therefore we want to help you fulfil your goal. Steve Kingsbury - Managing DirectorFlight Test New Zealand is a Part 141 training orgainsation holding an Aviation Training Certificate TR52489  issued by Civil Aviation Authority of NZ.  Please see a copy of our Certificate.

Steve Kingsbury manages Flight Test NZ from its base in Whitianga. Steve has been involved in aviation for 35 years encompassing flying, flight operations management, check and training. He formed Flight Test NZ in 1998 with the aim of providing a flight checking service that not only ensured pilots met the required standards, but importantly passed on knowledge from the examiner to the pilot so he or she learned something new from each check.

Steve says “I am privileged to work with the Flight Examiners and Instructors of FTNZ; they are passionate about aviation and want to pass on their knowledge and skills to each pilot they check. We want the pilot to not only pass the check flight, but to learn”.

In the sprit of Flight Test NZ, we sponsor young people to commence their career as a new pilot each year via the Walsh Memorial Scout Flying School.
